The service and atmosphere are top tier. We didn’t dine inside the restaurant so I can’t speak for it - we got a double beach bed which came with lunch and a dessert. Our waitron was super, ironically we’d met him earlier in the day on our boat trip to the villa. There are steps going down to the water which is wonderfully refreshing. I’d recommend this spot to anyone in the area. It can’t be beat.
Lido di Lenno was one of the best days during my trip to Lake Como! Not only is it an incredible beach location that has a magnificent view of the lake, but the hospitality was some of the best I've received. I hosted my engagement lunch here and the manager worked with me for almost 4 months to make sure everything was perfect. He created an entire menu for a group of 20 people, along with reserving a private area for us. All of it was what exactly what I imagined it would be! The staff was very professional and provided incredible service. The food was amazing as well as the drinks. Enjoying everything on the beach and overlooking the lake was a core memory that I will never forget. If you have time in Lenno, definitely check out this place because you will love it.
Beautiful place, but very rude staff, not organised at all. We reserved a spot, but when we came there on the reserved date - suddenly it was closed to the public for that day. Since we are here on holiday for just a week and wrote down the date, I am very sure that we made a reservation for the exact date. Instead of just apologising (we were a bit irritated of course) the staff was just rude to us and said we "should check OUR dates". But reading the comments - this is no exception...too bad, such a nice spot.
On Sunday, we made a reservation for Thursday. The sunbeds are not cheap but it's a nice location. When we arrived on Thursday, they looked at us like we were beggers - allegedly, private event, nothing to be booked. We should check our dates! Guys, check YOUR dates. Looking at the other reviews, there seems to be a scheme: sold to the highest bidder. Reservations don't count. It's such a disgrace, I hope that many people read this and will avoid this place.
Lenno is a great place and typical Italian town with a wonderful sightseeing of the gorgeous Como lake. You’ll enjoy the charm of the famous trattoria and its gelati. Impossible to not experience this place in Italy.
Lenno is a nice and peaceful little town in central Como lake. Recommend to visit Villa del Balbianello, but must check opening days.
Wonderful time alone or with friends, for lunch or just to chill by the water!
